How To Remove your Apple Watch bands

How To Remove your Apple Watch bands
Written by Futoextra

It’s no longer a new thing that most people spoil their apple watch bands or the watch itself while trying to remove them. In this post, I’m going to share with you the appropriate way to remove your Apple watch bands without damaging the buckle or any other part of the band. Make sure you follow the procedures appropriately to get the desired result.

Note: Don’t use a band that is bigger than your apple watch case size. Always make sure that you use a band that is designed for your apple watch series. Bands 38mm, 40mm, and 41mm should be used with the appropriate case sizes, the same thing as 42mm, 44mm, and 45mm.

  1. Place your Apple Watch face down on a clean, lint-free surface, such as a soft, padded mat.
  2. If it has a Link Bracelet, hold down the quick-release button on a link to separate the band into two parts.
  3. To remove the band, slide it across while maintaining pressure on the band release button.
  4. If the band doesn’t slide out, hold down the band release button again and make sure that you press it down.
  5.  Ensure that the text on the band points towards you, then slide the new band in until you feel and hear a click.

Note: Never try to jam a band into a slot. Slide the band first to the left, then to the right, until you feel or hear a click. If the band is installed correctly, it won’t slide until the band release button is pressed down.

If the band is still not locking, center it and push it into position. The band should then be carefully moved up and down. If the band on your Apple Watch is sliding, don’t wear it.
