Assistant Manager with Canada Visa Sponsorship

Key Responsibilities:

As an Assistant Manager, you’ll be responsible for leading our store operations and ensuring that our customers have a great experience. Here are some of the key duties you’ll be handling:

  1. Customer Service Excellence:
    • Provide exceptional customer service by greeting and assisting customers in a friendly and professional manner.
    • Handle customer inquiries, complaints, and feedback with a positive attitude, ensuring customer satisfaction.
  2. Team Leadership:
    • Motivate and lead a team of employees to achieve store goals and maintain high standards.
    • Foster a positive work environment by encouraging teamwork, open communication, and mutual respect.
  3. Operational Efficiency:
    • Manage day-to-day store operations, including opening and closing procedures, cash handling, and inventory control.
    • Ensure that all policies and procedures are followed 100% of the time, setting a strong example for the team.
  4. Cost and Inventory Management:
    • Monitor and control costs, including labor, food, and supplies, to maximize profitability.
    • Conduct regular inventory checks and maintain accurate records to ensure product availability.
  5. Training and Development:
    • Provide training and coaching to new and existing employees, helping them develop their skills and grow within the company.
    • Work closely with the General Manager to identify opportunities for staff development and career advancement.
  6. Marketing and Promotion:
    • Assist in implementing marketing and promotional activities to attract new customers and retain existing ones.
    • Collaborate with the marketing team to create and execute local marketing strategies.
  7. Safety and Cleanliness:
    • Ensure that the store is clean, organized, and compliant with all food safety regulations.
    • Promote a safe working environment by enforcing safety protocols and addressing any hazards.

Requirements:

  • Excellent customer service skills with a friendly and approachable demeanor.
  • Ability to work under pressure and maintain composure in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and inspire a team.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.

Additional Qualifications:

  •  Ability to drive is a major asset, though not required.
  • Prior experience in a managerial or supervisory role is preferred but not mandatory.
  • Willingness to learn and adapt to new challenges and responsibilities.

Working Hours and Compensation:

As an Assistant Manager, you can expect to work full-time, with shifts ranging from 10 AM to 1/3 AM. The expected hours per week are between 40 and 44. We offer competitive pay, with rates ranging from $16.55 to $18.00 per hour, depending on experience and qualifications.
